The award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer who served up countless hits to fans throughout the years has a whole new outlook on life; and she is ready to share her inspiring story with the world through new music and live stage performances.
Known for capturing the highs and lows of love through her songs, Moore continues to create music that speaks to the soul and her gifts extend far beyond the recording studio.
“The music I write and perform are chronicles of my life. When I’m happy, I write about it. When I’m sad, I write about it. It really is a map of my life’s journey” she said, before highlighting how her most recent struggles helped her dig deep to uncover the best version of herself.
“For as long as I can remember, for the first time, I feel 100% whole,” Chante says. “I have been through some dark places and my resilience is something I’m proud of.”
The timeless beauty who graced stages around the world may seem like a woman who always had it all together, but Moore admits, some of her biggest obstacles come from within. Like so many women across the country, for years, Chante was unknowingly in a place where she found herself crumbling inside, while she was busy holding up everyone around her.
“I think we all go on this roller coaster ride of life and we idealize people so much that we do not realize, they are just people too. I have gone through depression twice in the past ten years” she says. “As women, we ignore the signs because we are busy being mothers, sisters, friends and wives. We don’t take time to make sure we are in a good place” she explains. “I lived in regret for a long time. I can’t tell you how many times I said yes when I meant no. Lately, I have been focused on my own healing. I am tired of regret so I’m going to live on purpose. I will make mistakes and fall down and get back up again. But now, I plan to fall down less often, make steps that are purposeful and make my dreams a reality”
Chante’s genuine desire to be a beacon of light for others has always fueled her craft. Now with that light showing her the way, she evolved into a woman comfortable with sharing a multitude of experiences, which will certainly inspire many.
As a Black woman and mother, Chante watched health issues like diabetes and heart disease affect her loved ones and plague her community; prompting her to overhaul her own approach to proper nutrition and fitness.
The avid cook and self-described “foodie” has a great deal to offer the public when it comes to finding balance, making better choices and practicing self-care…things people everywhere can benefit from but often take for granted.
“Today, I am not what I was. My insides are night and day from what they were and what they are now. it’s a rebirth of sorts.” Armed with a vivacious personality and fearless approach to every endeavor, Chante is poised to make a major global impact with her inspiring stories, health and beauty endorsements, new music and stage performances. Her latest music and stage performances are sure to strike a chord with loyal adoring fans and garner a brand new following; demonstrating she is one of the few artists whose infectious appeal is as timeless as her talent.
“l think it’s about staying authentic and not being afraid to take risks. Knowing who I am and sharing that knowledge is really important to me right now.”
ln 1992, Moore exploded onto the R&B music scene with her certified gold debut album, “Precious”. Since then, she released more than 20 chart-topping singles, 7 full-length albums and several collaborations with some of the most prolific artists ever, including Prince, Babyface and The lsley Brothers…to name a few.
Recognized as a Grammy Nominated singer, Chante received countless awards and accolades throughout her career and contributed to the soundtrack of so many people’s lives (and a few blockbuster films to boot). Her autobiographical, self-help book “Will I Marry Me?” released 2014 explores some of her personal trials and tribulations. Her seventh full-length album “Rise of the Phoenix” dropped in 2017 and includes the hit single “Real One”. That same year, Chante released her holiday album “Christmas Back To You”. The collection contains classic Christmas standards like “Please Come Home For Christmas” as well as several brand-new offerings including “Every Day’s Like Christmas”.
Now, Chante is following-up her previously released EP “1 of 4” with music that speaks to her life’s journey. While Moore’s latest project introduces a new attitude, long time fans can rest assured, she stays true to the things they have come to expect from her music…heartfelt lyrics, angelic melodies and infectious tracks that explore her newfound spirit. “You will always hear love songs. You will always get lush, beautiful and intricate harmonies. You can rely on the music being positive even if it’s about heartbreak” Chante says. “To sum it all up, no matter what, you can always count on getting the
best of me.”
